Took mine to my indies yesterday. There were 2 there - other than the various scrap ones they have there - both saloons.
One was a 2.0 prestiege. Can't remember the year, but it was notable for the absolutely immaculate alloys.
The other was a grey G reg, didn't notice what model, but I think it was in for an engine rebuild from what they said.
Somehow I'm not really expecting the owners to be on here as I haven't noticed many postings from people that close to me, but you never know.

Ha!!! My first sighting of what appears to be me!! Was the silver one on the edge of Lincoln like the one in the Readers' Rides section? If it was I was just giving a pair of new Michelins a scrubbing in.
Interestingly, I was at the Newark Autojumble on Sunday (6th), near the A1/A46 junction. Whilst there I saw an N reg green S2 estate, appeared to be a VSX 2.5TD but couldn't get too close.
Later on, coming home on the A46, I saw (this felt really weird considering how few are seen generally) coming towards me another S2 Exclusive in silver. Not seen it before - headed towards Newark.

Blue Estate on Reigate High Street at about 7:30 yesterday evening? I didn't see what it was as I was in a restaurant at the time, just saw it drive past the window.

The guy who ran Aquasports in Merstham used to have a blue 2.5TD estate many moons ago - could be that car. There was an architect I knew in Reigate called Colin Dixie who graduated from a CX GTI Turbo to a V6 SEi XM around that time too. The CX was a Magnetic Blue D plate which I used to look after for him. Don't suppose any of these cars are still in the area? Sorry, a bit off topic!

I went to school in Rehill and Reigate, and lived on Carlton Road in the 90's. My mum still lives in Redhill, but I'm now in Kent, just outside Folkestone

My wife lived in Carlton green and was at school in the 90s. In-laws still there, and we are down by the college.
To get vaguely back on topic...
It is becoming quite rare to see an XM about the area (other than mine, and I don't see that drive past). I used to know of a few, but one has gone, and the other was on here recently with water in the engine - not sure if it is back on the road as I haven't been past there since. I do see a few at my indy, but they do get customers from quite a distance away.

Hmm, as you may tell from my posts in this thread I've been seeing more here (Bristol) recently that ever reallly, and not just the usual two or three. And mine are he scruffiest ones. Back when I was first considering an XM there was an H reg one with a broken mirror parked near where I worked for ages and ages, it looked really sad, and another one just like my first one near the indies with a badly dented front wing (looked like a lorry reversed into it!) that ended up scrap soon after. In fact I think that mine now has the clip for the ignition module from that one. Didn't put me off XM's though, I was gigging a lot at the time and needed something big for gear and that I could buy not take a loan out on and that was not made in the UK. Oh, and cool too, and a bit of a Citroen family too since we traded the Maxi and got a GS Club estate in the mid 70's.
Its suprising really that for most of the "Was it You" threads it appears it was noone on
this board. There appear to me more XMers out there that one might suspect from the market value alone. I keep seeing post S reg ones on ebay but someone told me all the RHD rives were special order after S, Even the guy at the dealer parts counter last time I was there stated "they just keep going and going" (the addendum is of course "if you are prepared to pay to keep it running", not the dealer of course but the indie or with your spare time.

They seem well hidden though. I have done two trips to the north of Scotland in the last 18 months and didn't see one in a total of over 4000 miles. Did see three or four in Cherbourg though, but only one estate.
I only know of one other in this area, between Axminster and Honiton, about ten miles from here, and I havn't seen that one lately.
