Hi citroenxm,

When you reply to a post or start one from new there's a standard page which appears with a white box in the middle of the screen where you write your post. On the left are smilies which you can use throughout your post just by clicking on the appropriate one. A smilie appears in your text at the location of the cursor when you clicked.

Below the white box there are three selections and underneath them there's a row of what looks like more smilies. These are the ones which appear to the left of each post in the normal forum view. They don't really mean anything its just what the person happened to choose at the time.

Cheers

Hi tall cythia,

Is that an anagram? Not sure of your problem. Just click on 'My Controls' at the top right of the screen then 'edit avatar settings' at the bottom left. You can either choose from an avatar from the gallery, point to an avatar stored on another site or upload one of your own. To upload just click on the 'Browse' button and navigate to your stored avatar.

"Your avatar must be no bigger than 150 pixels by 150 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 20 KB.
The following file types are allowed: gif .jpeg .jpg .swf .png"

Hope that helps.

cheers
