Hi all,

We're off to France on the weekend of the 08 July for 2 weeks. Probably dodge about the north coast somewhere. Kids want to go to Eurodisney to see what its like. I have relented and agreed to go for a couple of days only. Otherwise, does anyone have any suggestions for campsites and things to go and see?

Cheers

Hi Noz

We have only been to Brittany and all that we have seen has been lovely, beautiful countryside and quiet roads, almost as quiet as the highlands! dont know that it would appeal to the kids though!

You can find quite a lot of information for camp sites etc on the net. Have a nice trip.

Hi Noz,

I'd definately recommend a visit to Mont St Michel - it's absolutely stunning. For some great photos use the drop-down box to get the PDF file from here:

You should get some good information on camp sites from the local tourist office here:

If you decide to go - a visit to Dinan is also a must when you're in the area (in my book) - info & pics here:

There's a lovely beach at the seaside town of Dinard - not far away too.

Hope this helps.

I would agree about Dinan, its a beautiful town, a bit like Lyme Regis only much bigger. If you go down to the river and across the bridge you can park free, you can then walk up to the town through the lovely cobbled streets, if that doesn't wear the kids out nothing will!

Hi all,

Thanks for your suggestions. We've been to Mont St michel and Dinan before and you're right they are stunning. I've had a look at a few web links but I think I'm going to have to buy a camping book. Web access is great at home but not much help when you're on the move.

Cheers
