Hi,
Does anyone know when XM production finally ended (particularly RHD production)?
Thanks
Roy

You must have one of the very last, someone can probably tell you when yours was made from a number somewhere.

Hi Roy
I have had a look through my XM brochures. It seems that the 2000 model year started later in the year than usual as the latest brochure I have is K8276 created in June 99. This claims text accurate as at 1 Sept 99 and applies to cars produced from 1 Oct 99. The contents of this XM brochure is virtually identical to the previous ones except for new cover photos and a fouled up photo of chassis welding.
The two previous brochures I have are identical to each other except for the publication dates.
K8216 was created in June 99, accurate as of 1 June 99 and refers to models produced from 1 May 99.
K6667 was created in Sept 97, accurate as of 23 June 97 and refers to models produced from the 1 May 97.
It was interesting that the final two editions of the XM brochure were produced in the same month.
I wonder if the components used in the final few years production of cars stayed as consistent as tha brochures.
It looks like you are down to comparing ORG Nos. of the cars to see if yours is the very last UK car produced. Sod's Law dictates that if yours was produced on the final day you will find someone else with the same ORG and you will have to compare VIN's for order on the production line.
Is it possible for CCC to formally ask Citroen UK for the facts regarding final XM production.
