Whooohoo,

Congratlations Chris L, very nice, I've been a lurker on Yahoo for a couple of years with a few posts and of course will continue with my daily visits but this is sooo much better looking well done, I'm sure this site will take off "Cheers"

GreenBlood.... silly really but simply references the fact I have been driving Cits for 30 + years, LHS and LHM cars, so much so that you can see green in my blood shot eyes

Current daily driver is a 1991 XM V6 Auto, the only variant sold here in Australia, shame really because the turbo diesels would have better suited to this vast brown land and maybe sold more than the 300 - 400 cars Citroen managed to sell in it's 10 year model life, testamant to this is the success of the C5 HDI out here. Purchased my beasty in 2001 with 160,000 kilometres and FSH log book is a joy to behold, the car was serviced every 10,000 almost to the kilometre.

To date only very minor faults in my two years of ownership, radiator hose, high pressure hose and a battery. Our cars are not subjected to corrosion problems that you guys experience in the UK and Europe, so those electrical gremlins don't seem to be as much a problem. Most of the cars sold here would still be on the road and for the most part look and drive like new. Good in some respects but makes finding second hand parts all but impossible.

Pic of my little beasty at the All French Car Day 2003 in Brisbane Australia, sitting with a few members of www.aussiefrogs.com
