Welcome to the club bewickman

Cant help much with petrol engines as I havn't run one for 20 years or more, but I am sure as a mechanic even Citroen ones dont hold any fears for you. If you are unfamilier with hydropnumatic suspension, ther are plenty on here who are not, so I am sure you will get most of your questions answered, and there will be some!

It requires a mechanic to do what is normally diy stuff on an XM but try changing a head gasket on a 2.1 td! I think you will find a level of experience on here that surpasses most garages.

Enjoy you car, there is nothing made now that is equal to an XM.

Hi bewickman1,

Welcome to club-xm. I hope you will find the club a friendly place with lots of advice on keeping your new XM on the road.

Don't worry about asking for advice, we're all like-minded here (nutters) - a bit like an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. First you have to say " Hi, my name's Dave and I own an XM". After you can admit that in public the rest is plain sailing wink.gif

cheers
