I passed someone in a what looked like dark green XM this morning on a street in Glasgow just round the corner from PC World and Yorkhill hospital.

He flashed and waved which made me think he must of been an enthusiast.

Just wondered if it was a user from here?

Regards
David.

Hi David

It wasn't me, although you will probably find me in Abington services in June. I did meet up with 'citroenxm' last week in Wales and obtained a Mk2 front grill! I thought you lived in the south, evidently not.

When I had my last CX Safari, people would nearly always flash their lights, except one stuck up chap in Axminster who ignored me, I then realised I was in my wifes BX!

That's the beauty of the series 1, it's instantly recognisable from the front. The problem with the Series 2 is that, unless you get a glimpse along the flank, it can easily be mistaken for a Xantia.

You are right, I've done it many times, I even got out of my car the other day, to look at an XM on a garage forecourt, only of course, it wasn't!
