just orderd waterpump & cambelt from europarts 47quidbe here on friday hopefully put them on on sunday do you guys get your spares from local moter factors . just trying to find out the cheaper suppliers thats all & if club xm has any discount schemes with any suppliers .

I get most of my bits from GSF, in fact I fitted a water pump and cam belt last year. I then had to replace the head gasket and another cam belt, 3 in 10k miles!The prices sound similar. I think the pump was thirty something and the belt about twelve + vat.

got the pump&belttry and do it on sunday weather permiting wifes getting a bit narky due to the fact i have three cars up the drive o ne on ramps on tested no tax on i am useing its the xm that bothers her the most because its upthe ramps &makes the place look untidy but shuold be running this weekend bit of luck it will not beat me

If you havn't done it yet, make sure you get all the pump gasket off the block, its very difficult to see and get to the top part, I had to use a Stanley knife blade in my fingers!.
