When i went to buy my 2.1td series 1 i was trying the suspension up and down to see everything was ok,front went up fine but the guy revved the car to make the car go up at the front quicker,is this a sign that somethings on the way out?It does go up but a lot slower than my 2.0 turbo Onyx does. And also this is a general question about something im noticing more and more, what's the link with Peugeot 605 parts,is the whole chassis of these cars shared with a 605 or is it just a small number of parts?

The speed at which the car rises depends on the general condition of the hydraulic system, if the filters are clogged and/or the fluid needs changing, that will slow things down as will a tired hydraulic pump. If the car eventually settles down to the correct height and everything works, I wouldn't worry to much about it. If the fluid has not been changed regularly, it would be a good idea to do it, and clean the system out with 'hydraflush'.

Just a PS to that, re 605 parts. The engine and gearbox are the same, as maybe are some of the switches etc, but the suspension, as you will appreciate, is completely different.
