All,

I must divest myself of another part of my overflowing fleet.

I have for sale my first XM that I bought in 2002

It is an XM 2.5TD
N39RAC Aug 1995
Silver
Last Taxed & MOTd in 2009

The reg is slightly unusual and probably has a value in the second hand registration market.

Too many repairs carried out to list. Most of the self help files created during the fixes to this car so you can get some idea by looking through the Self Help section.

There are a few bits and pieces missing which I have robbed to keep my other XMs going. However, there's nothing serious missing that couldn't be replaced.

It has not started for over a year. Prior to that I would run it for an hour or so once per month. It has been drained to protect it from freezing.

The car is worth much more as spares if was broken that it is as a going concern. However you could say that about all cars. I'd be looking for £200 ono for the car as it is.

Anyone taking it away would need to trailer it. The chances are the brakes will be seized etc and would need to be released. If someone wanted it then I would take each wheel off and release the brakes so that it could be put on the trailer.

Please PM me if interested.

Cheers

Ok, I give in. The pain in my left ear is more than I can bear. Does anyone want a 2.5TD free of charge?

All,

I can't bear the pain any more. If I don't get any takers she'll be going to the scrapper in a couple of weeks time. Sacrilege I know but that's the reality of it.

cheers

Hi Noz,

Sent you an email, but not sure if it got through or not.. My XM owning friend is interested in giving the car a new home and isn't that far from you, so drop me a line before you bite the bullet. :|

Regards,

Miah
