Hi,
Anyone out there have a spare Valprex 2000 D9 regassing valve lying around? Went to recharge my Accumulator the other day and the valve stuck open. I cant get it to seal and now the sphere is completely flat.
Cheers, Ian

Hi Ian,
I have a Tecnosir valve. Is that the same thing?

Sorry I missed this thread,
I use the Technosir head to recharge spheres in my DS as well as the XM and the CX. In total, I had ordered something like 35 Valprex Valves in a mixed variety, 10 for the DS that are in two parts, a set for regassing the C5 spheres, all the others for the 2 x XM's and 2 x CXs, these latter ones are 9 x 1.25 size.
Usually when the valve is stuck open is because the spring is weak causing the nylon ball to stay loose.
I bought mine directly from Technosir, though the head is a newer design, which I dislike, as it does not allow the user to check the N2 contents, prior to a fill.
I have since bought a used one on the U.K eBay last month, that is the older designed head and it will allow me to check the N2 content of the sphere, independently of releasing the N2 into the sphere first.
Cheers

I have the older style head as well. The problem with buying the valves from Technosir is that they were selling them in packs of 5 for about £40, a bit of a sting as I only need one, all my other spheres are already fitted with them. The crunch was when I tried to order them, they wanted an additional £40 for postage to the UK. Now I can't even find the link to their sales page online.

Hello, I have a pair of CX front spheres with these Tecnosir valves fitted and I'd like to have them recharged.
Does anyone have recharging facilities for these?
They're down to 60bar each so rubber diaphragm still good and they are genuine Citroen spheres so I'd hope to revitalise them.
Anyone?
