Following on from last years inaugural X Rally that was a brilliant success, we will of course be holding it again next year. The date, as you can see on the above information poster, is the 7th April 2013 and this once again combines with Burghley's Fine Food Market that is a well represented event that they hold each year.

If you attended last year you will know that we got a brilliant turnout of 80+ Citroens which for a first was excellent. However next year I am sure we can do even better, and in particular I for one would like to see some more Modern Cs at events - all are welcome however I'd like to push for more modern's...

Arrival from 9:30am please!

Cost will be £5 parking for each car.

Prize-giving for awards will be at 3:00pm (or before depending on weather etc).

2 for 1 entry to House & Gardens on production of CCC Membership card.

Well as there's only a week left (yes just 7 days!) I thought I'd give this topic a bump, but with something else too...

As of last year there is a trophy for the Best CX, XM, Xantia and BX - new this year is a Special Award too...

Prizes are also on offer for the 2nd and 3rd place vehicles...

So get polishing folks... :wink:

Just a thought. What about best 'original' car prize? By that I mean a car that does NOT have to be polished.. Straight and ok.. But we'll used.. Why do prizes goto cars that are polished?

What about prehaps best scruffy car?

Only a thought. I say this because every year it's the same.. Both Mathew and will battle it with both their stunningly beautifly mint Xm...

We could do Paul however trouble is we could end up with lots and lots of trophies...

If an original, well looked after car was in attendance it would be taken into account of course! In some cases, originality is best...
