I have a leak in lhm pipe between the regulator block and suspension, going round accumulator as shown in the pictures.



before replacing, do I have to discharge all LHM in tank, in addition to depressurizing the system ?

and after being replaced, should I bleed brake fluid to remove air bubbles ?

I would appreciate any advice.

Hi Mako, you don't need to drain the lhm tank, when disconnecting the pipe you should only loose the fluid in the pipe as after de-pressurizing nothing should syphon down. At any time after opening the hydraulic system it is best practice to bleed the brakes.

the lhm pipe is going to arrive today, so I will try it soon after.

I have replaced the leaking hydraulic pipe, resulted in a very little LHM spillage.

and it seems OK for now.
