Hi All, Car is a 93 petrol turbo, done 250k, now has trans problem and wont move, what is the most likely fault in the auto?

Hi David,does it select and move in reverse and do you get the correct indications through all selected positions ?.If it does then most likely a stuck valve.If not then things could turn serious.Do the usual and check fluid level.clarity and smell.

250k on a box - VERY GOOD!
Whats the oil change service's on the box been like?? Think you have had a good life from it with that milage.
On the good news front Ive a VERY good auto box with around 100k in the shed, which I know is in GREAT working order... Off a 2.oi Turbo Petrol too..
