I am the proud owner of two XM TD Hatchbacks - a 1990 2.1 and a 1995 2.5.
I have spent a lot of money on the 2.5 and now am thinking of selling the 2.1.
I am only the second owner of this car purchased some 14 years ago. I have worked abroad for some years so the car was in SORN for 4 years and after 1 year of running is now back in Sorn as from the end of June. It has done 145,000 miles.
This Mark 1 is beautifully built as one of the first XM's exported to Britain, with the body being galvanized. It has been well kept and serviced and a full service history is available. Bodywork is original and very good but has a series of small front and bonnet chips from travelling across Europe in the past.
I have also purchased a fair amount of spares for this car over the years and these are also available.
Mandarin Red, manual gearbox, full excellent Michelin tyres, Omega Italian security system fitted, as well as hidden air horns which I found useful when in Europe. It has no tow bar and has not been used for towing.
Please note I will not let it go for silly money so serious buyers of this marque only please.
