I've found this stray connector on my 2.5 TD and can't figure out where it's meant to go. Its a brown connector and is quite close to the brown temperature sensor but that sensor already has a brown plug connected to it (see pics) so where is this one meant to go. Can't see any vacant connectors anywhere!

Replied to question on other forum.
EGR vac control solenoid.
Cable and connector should go up by rear top engine mount.

Will go and have a look now. Any reason why it would be disconnected?

Lots of posts on the sites about the EGR system problems and dissabling.

I can't seem to find the solenoid. Can you give more detail on where I should be looking or a link to a photo/diagram. This is for a 2.5 TD.
