Hi everyone, I'm from Spain but I recently moved to Belfast NI, once here a friend of mine who was moving to New York gently gave me his own Citroen Xm 2.0 VSX, I've never been a huge fan of french cars and I'ts my first Experience with Citroen (In Spain a I used to drive a Bmw 318Ti Compact).
I have to admit that It has been a good surprise to recieve this car, it works great and althoug it is not in pristine condition (Car has been garaged for 8 months) once cleaned seems that it only has minor issues to fix.
I am a complete newbie about Xm and Citroen in general so I will need your help to keep my Xm as good as I can, I'd like to know where I can find spare parts, if there is any good garage in Northern Ireland or if I should take it to the official dealer to review, what are the major problems i should look trough etc...
I'm glad to join your family, and pics will come as soon as I finish to clean it. Cheers!

Hi Sergi,
Welcome to the XM club.
There are a couple of us that live in NI on the forum.
If you need any parts, let me know what you want, as I have some spares If I can't help you, some of the other members will hopefully be able to help.
I wouldn't bother bringing a XM to any of the Citroen dealers. They wouldn't know what it is! There are a couple of independent Citroen specialists. The nearest to you is Dessie Gillespie in Portglenone, and Willie Johnston in Co.Cavan.
Regards
Robert

WoW! Thank you for the welcome first of all!! I could use the garages, I'm sure the car needs a full review by a specialist. I need some parts yes, (Not really a big deal) the window of the passenger keeps falling down and I guess I will need a new engine for that window, also I will need a couple of new mirrors, (both of them are broken) the car works fine, just need a few details to leave it perfect!
Anyway thank you for everything!

Hi Sergi
Welcome to the club and XM ownership. In my opinion there is no nicer car, except perhaps a diesel
I also have a BMW 5 series (don't tell Noz), nice as it is the ride does not compare with the XM, they are much easier to repair though but I still have two 2.1 manunal estates so am not forsaking them.
