Hi all,

Whilst stripping the turbo down today i found this pipe was broken and has been stuck back into place with what looks like superglue rolleyes.gif

I am sure it has been leaking because i could hear a hissing from the back of the engine where it goes but what exactly does it do?. It connects from the inlet piping before the turbo to a sensor mounted above the engine on the bulkhead, seems like a vacume pipe is it boost control?

Hi dean it is the wastegate control valve unmodified by the look of things there is a info rapid sheet on it in my book somewhere i will look it up to check but from memory the valve has to be repositioned so the engine movement does not do to it what has happened to yours

cheers
Mick
