Hi
I've just found this great site having just purchased a beautiful silver 1995 XM petrol turbo estate. I've been a citroen fan since I bought my first new car in 1974 (a GS estate), dates me I know. Presently also have a 1993 Xantia TD SX, so you can see that this really is a matter of the triumph of hope over experience.

Drove the XM home after collection and the alternator immediately packed up just as I drove through the gate (oh well), then the rad fans packed up (turned out to be only the relays, but my little local non-citroen mechanic had not a clue). Sounds like a wheel bearing is becoming noisy now. Still love it though, but think I should have held out for a diesel, though the petrol LPT has a healthy turn of speed.

Keep up the brilliant work
