Hi Guys,

I've just put a new alternator, hydraulic pump, radiator and aux belt on my XM.

Final steps of putting it back togethor are now here.

Does anyone know the procedure for bleeding the cooling system on the Series 2 V6?

Thanks

David.

Hi David, i have NO knowledge of the v6,but if you have the "workshopmanuals.co.uk" manual, section 230-005/es9j4,v6 cooling gives all the info.

There are two bleed screws at the thermostat housing which take an allen key. Plus the usual one on the heater hose. Otherwise same procedure.

Thanks guys.

Jan on XM-L posted the official Cit Workshop pages for bleeding too.

Will get onto that tonight.

David.
