While talking on IRC with some fellow Citroenists this crossed my mind. Has anyone ever tried or even considered upgrading the XM's hydractive suspension to make it like the one in Activa Xantia? Just out of curiosity, what would it take, is it doable? Anyone have any insight on this, please enlighten me biggrin.gif

Basically it's the same system right? Wouldn't it be possible to just take the Activa parts from a dead Xantia perhaps and do it..

The first problem that comes to my mind is how to program the suspension ECU to deal with the difference in the Xantia and XM, as far as I know they can't be programmed after their initial flash, even Hydractive ECUs are setup differently. Whether it's mechanically possible maybe could be answered by an Activa owner. Where's Andy....
