Full Version Insurance For A Classic Car Going To Europe?

A CCC NSW member is taking his Traction Big 6 to Europe to go to the 75th anniversary of the Traction Avant at Arras in June. He is currently trying to find insurance for it while it is in Europe for a few weeks. Of course it will be there on one of those temporary carte things and will be running on Australian registration.

The member has contacted Australian insurance companies who of course want nothing to do with it.

The best thing would be to insure it with a European company while he is there.

Has anyone any experience or knowledge in this area that they can offer?

The car will arrive in Southampton and go to Europe via the tunnel. It will be driven in Europe for about three months before returning.

Please post details of companies that may be able to assist.

I'm sure Adrian Flux would be able to find a company willing to cover this.
