Does anyone have any idea fixes and costs for a few issues on a 2.1td.
Aircon not working..suspect condensor.
Cruise not working.
Head gasket.
Do these engines need new stretch bolts whenever the HG is replaced.?

Cruise control will probably be just dirty connectors somewhere.

Air-con will likely be the evaporator. All you need to do is whip the dash out and swap it over. It is the most expensive evaporator ever made.

Does the compressor engauge? If not then the first suspect would be lack of gas which is easily checked with a gauge. If there's no gas then you need to find out if it is natural wastage (so many percent per year) or a proper leak. I had the system on my C5 checked and recharged by I guy I found on Ebay. The price was good and he did a proper job. He was a air con engineer.

Normally head bolts have a stretch length that if they exceed it they should be replaced, considering how much effort is needed to do a head gasket I'd buy a full headset rather than risk it and have to do it again.

Cruise control, start by checking fuses and the switches on pedal(s).
