Club XM Forum > Sadly it has to go...

I have to have this gone soon, as no one seesm to want it as spares or a car, I will now consider breaking it. Nearly everything is good, except the alternator, LHM return pipe one ABS sensor (pass side front) and a bearing in the drive train.

Everything except the engine/gearbox avialble, not becuse I am keeing them but I need them to move it on its last trip after I have striped all the parts I can, then once at the scrapyard I will pull off any parts requested that it can't be driven without, however I don't have any way to remove the engine and box once in the scrappy car park.

Climate works, remote locking works, windows work, and it runs on chipfat. Suspension is as soft as it should be, cruise works, and it has a very nice interior, in cream leather (this will not be going to the scrapyard, or sold cheap). And it has very good (possibly not that old) strut tops (these will be removed before it is scrapped)

I would prefer it went whole, I can put the original interior back in.

Stewart, is the A/C control panel available ( mine's playing up a bit ie switching the aircon on itself!) and if so what cost with P&P?

Cheers,

Alan.

Hi, the car seems to have makings if a good useable car. I`ve replaced the o/s front hub, fitted another alternator, put to good tyres on the front and repaired the n/s front ABS sensor and unbelievable it went through an MOT this afternoon!
When I got back from the MOT I found it has a slight diesel leak from under the inlet so I`ll be looking at that over the next week and then I just need to decide what to do with it.

Thanks again Stewart, hope you have more luck with the next XM.
