Mate I wish you'd said, I only live on the borders of Billericay
EDIT: Just seen you posted only a day after I'd made the request. For some reason I had it in my head much more time had passed! Anyway, will try and bell you later.

Does sound nice Phil, are you going to get yourself a s1? Just a thought.
Was Alderney big enough for it to get lock up into top on the autobox!?

I think the hydraulic pump will need changing out at a later date as it 'clicks' alot more than most I driven.
Richard |
I doubt it will be the pump but the accumulator sphere, so much easier and cheaper to replace
Sounds like a good one phil, planning on selling your SX?
With this being a late S1 does that make it a S1.5 with the H2 suspension?
Sounds very nice, im sure it needs a good blast after pottering around Alderney since 1999!

Anyone know what the actual differences between a series one Si and a series two SX are? Shame it doesn't have aircon, that's all I'll say

View the Si as a series 2 VSX, Electric windows all round, electric seats, electric and heated mirrors, electric sunroof, climate control (note not aircon), ABS was an option also.

Ah OK, Richard didn't mention air/climate in the original msg and I blithely assumed it was absent! Even more interested now

Phil, its not actual climate, as there is no Air con - unless it has it as an option, but thats not mentioned.
It keeps the temp you set on the dial, unless the temp you have set is lower than outside air temperature, then it wont. So just like having your SX set to cold really.
SOme prefer the SX type, as you get dual zone heating, where as VSX gets auto temp but only one zone.
