covers most of the important bits, are you thinking of making it a keeper? if so flush the cooling system and change the antifreeze (50/50 water/antifreeze) and throw a thermostat in as well, it should run at 90oC max, but when moving it shoud stay at 85oC if all is well.
Sounds like its being treated well biggrin.gif

If it's a keeper definitely fit a new timing belt and waterpump asap as you'll lose the lot if the
belt goes pop unless you have unequivocal proof it's just been done - some garages write
on the headlight panel or timing cover with marker the date and miles.

As you're dropping the gearbox oil, it makes sense to remove the offside driveshaft and get
that lower engine mount bush replaced - IIRC the donut bush is less than a tenner from GSF
but it's listed for Bx's! Crazy as it sounds make sure it;s the right gear oil for your car as
there's usually some confusion what's what at my local GSF!!

Also, get up close with the fuel lines that run up off the offside bulkhead onto the engine
for splits/cracks and chaffing on the jubilee clips.

More longer term, the front strut tops are worth thoroughly checking and protecting afresh
with decent paint top and bottom on the wheelarch crowns as they're prone to letting go
and stuffing the bonnet with the sphere.

Id get all the spheres regassed, or at least checked to see if they can be regassed. Failing that replace the lot with new ones, get the hight corrector linkages greased up as they can stick.

Why have an Xm and not get the full benefits from a fully working suspension. Also nice soft spheres will be nicer to your strut tops!
