http://www.citroenmotorhouse.co.uk/vehicle...age=8&ID=779220NOTE: Mileage shown in ad is wrong. It's 112,000 and not 12,000. Having phoned the dealer (well you'd have to, wouldn't you?) the car has only one or two owners but "needs work" -- though what work was not clear. Interior looks immaculate.
Have a click! They're a main dealer so will probably take £150

Looks tidy, the interior does look very nice actually. Paint is a bit of a drab colour though, doesnt do much for the Xm shape.
Quite unusual for a dealer to be selling such a cheap car.

Good price for a turbo, especially from a main dealer.
The "drab colour" is the Platinum grey which all the V6's were pictured in when the car was
released new in '89 so Citroen must have thought it sold the car well in that hue. I like it on
my V6 but it needs to be clean and polished so as not to appear dingy.
Nice car that could be cheap as Phil says. Looks a bit of an oddball with the C3'esque wheeltrims.

I was tempted by this too - it's not far from me -
but I thought I should limit myself to one a day!

Wonder what needs work?
ABS light,? A slippy autobox, or flat spehres wouldn't allow it to "run well" so it must be
fairly innocuous unless it's the perishables like tyres and exhaust which could mug you
to the tune of 4-500quid.
The buzz from buying another Xm is brilliant isn't it Tim; yes, and quite addictive!

OMG, you're right it is quite close isn't it, also closeish to Andrew though LOL.
Lucky it is an auto then, don't really think I want to take one of those on for mostly city driving.
Then again who knows WHAT I will be doing in Feb.
Presumably you get a full MOT with it.

I know I joked about this earlier - but I keep finding myself looking at it. Anyone else thinking about it? I might take a trip to see it at the weekend.

Citroenitis is spreading around this forum and it's effects can be irrecoverable to your
sanity and bank balance!!

I think your right Andrew, Xms are very addictive!
Is it missing a mirror, or is it just the picture?

Ooh yes. In fact I had been thinking, why are there no pics of the nearside?
Damaged perhaps?
Needs to be investigated!

Ok, I genuinely was 'just' passing this Sunday afternoon and remembered to call in to investigate!
Judt been on a run up to Stratford on Avon to collect an ebayed low mileage 2.0TCT engine and
ancilliaries won for £50! 8)
Ok, no passenger mirror - AT ALL! Blanked off with carefully crafted plastic trim covering - weird!
A few scuffs around the corners and a light scratch on the nearside rear door and quarter but it's
generally OK. Damage is confined to the nearside front indicator.
It's sitting wedged under a big leylandi bush which probably isn't doing it any favours and looks a bit
sorry for itself now after the website pictures looked so promising. Tax runs out at the end of Feb so
I'm sure there will be some space to negotiate a keen price.
It's sitting on a set of duff Corsa tyres although I'm sure they've plenty of tread and the
missmatching wheeltrims are simply nasty.
The interior looks nice and fresh although the usual glovebox catch breakage needs fixing.
Not sure if it's sunroof works but IIRC it's a base i Turbo so no rear electric windows
- could be wrong on that one mind so don't let that put you off.
I'd say offer them £250 and get a nice car that needs an enthusiastic owner to give it some TLC;
a great first Xm for someone in fact without being a potential expensive load of hassle!

Ooo - good work!
Did it have any MOT?

I took some pictures which seem to be playing hard to get at the moment, so watch this space!
OK, I may need to mention they're not great as they were hurriedly lashed off but they should
give some idea of the main points to note: have to go to work now!!
