Hi folks,just got my first XM,a 1995 2.5td VSX Estate,I'm guessing it is the start of a long and painful,but altogether rewarding relationship.It comes with many and varied faults,mainly electrical,so I am after help and advice from more experienced XMers.I have had a couple of BX's in the past,so not a total Citroen virgin !.

Hi John,the car was on ebay,but twice did not sell,I had to sell my trusty old van to get some cash,so I contacted the seller after the auction end and offered him the starting price,£499,got the car today,12 months MOT,but a bit of work needed,rear pads,a really good clean and sort out what I have found out are common faults,rear elec windows not working,also elec wing mirrors,all part of the joy of XM eh.

Rear windows could simply be stuck with lack of use....

They really can stick that much!!
