We seem to have a few thread about this now. As this is the latest I shall add on here.

Last night on the BBC London evening news - the bit about the poor chap who lives in a nice flat development where they are being plagued by antisocial hoodies. As an asside, the poor chap got fed up with the noise one day and went and took some photos of them with his mobile as proof/identification. He then had a knock on the door from PC Plod threatening to charge him for taking photos of children without permission or something similar.

Anyway, apart from the obvious unfairness of our current rights over responsibility society and police who don't know the law, there were shots of him talking about it in the car park area and there was a very nice looking silver hatch there. Was a Mk1 judging by the grille, and looked absolutely immaculate - and freshly polished from the look of it too. Parked right at the front where it was in shot almost as much as the chap. Almost as though the owner knew the filming was going to happen and put it there on purpose laugh.gif

Anyone here?

One of the Few FIRST cars into UK... wearing G404RGJ. Its a rare Base 2.oi non turbo, and its still leagal to September!. Its apparently grey...

It is down as a Greg 1990, not a G reg 1989 model...

Looks quite tidy, but thats only a quick glance though..(Could be his car!)

Of course... I hadn't thought of that. I'll have to remember that for the future.

My car shows up on that still on it's English numberplate (G323 WNK). Its exported though obviously, so is unlicensed etc.

Be interesting to see what would happen with ANPR and the like if I was to drive around in it over there again.... plod might be interested, or would they ignore anything shown as 'exported'?

Ciaran,

It shouldn't be a Turbo the engine didn't exsist untill a few years later, so it has to be a N/a 2.oi....

Due to my memory loss getting worse all the time I've just remembered that about three months ago I saw a six wheeled CX estate in eynsford in Kent. Silver it were and immaculate by the look of it. I don't know anything about these mythical vehicles but I'm sure that you guys will be able to fill in some details.

A well-known car, often seen at Rallies in the South. Immaculately maintained IIRC, by a Citroen Car Club member.
