I noticed people wondering about high shipping cost to Australia. The guy at the following email address, trevorparnhamntl@aol.com just shipped for me 2.5 kg parcel for less than £12.00 to Hong Kong(nice, brand new XM suspension pump) and he does Australia and the whole FarEast as well at more than reasonable prices. He is a mail consolidator or forwarder or something else I don't know, but does the job and that's what counts. Same parcel by Royal Mail £ 33.00 and the rest of them like DHL or UPS much more than that.
His ph. numbers are 01934 861259 or 07969913835.
and his name's Trevor
Good Luck,

I checked the Royal mail site, and they reckon a 2 kg parcel from UK to Oz for about 25 quid, and a 2 kg letter for 33 quid....

Prehaps we could keep Kiwi and shane and UFO supplied with surplus spares after all... for not a silly price..

Thanks Guys,

Unfortunatly we rarely buy from the UK due to the cost of postage sad.gif . The cheapest part I have ever got from UK is handbrake pads from ebay. Would you believe they opened the box, layed them flat in an envelope and posted them as a letter for less than 2quid laugh.gif

I had Smiffy send me a box of computer bits from a CX he was wrecking... From memory it was a staggering 70quid wacko.gif ohmy.gif

The UK converison rate to other currencies generally make just about any "new" part incredibly expensive too sad.gif.

With the interior bits, you'd be stunned how quickly the weight will increase (plus I feel bad asking someone to spend a lot of time stripping the interier out, which I imagine would be very time consuming). For the cost of postage I could probably have a trimmer put new leather into the seats locally for less than the postage price ?

seeya,
Shane L.
