Years ago when I was scrapping Cx's with a pal he always kept going on to me about
saving the glass - "you can weld and repair metal and plastic, but you can't do that
with glass...."
Not a bad adage - I've kept as much as I have had success, time and good fortune to
remove in one piece off everything I've scrapped!! The concave rear screen on a Cx or
the front masssssive screen must be as rare as can be these days and I know for a fact
several CX estates have been scrapped because of vandalised broken glass...

Whhaaaattttt!! Didnt keep the hatch!! You're not trying hard enough! Ok, it got damaged didn't it? Will let you off just this once...
If you dropped the sunroof does that mean you have spare coathooks...?

Andrew |
Nah, andrew, dont need a S2 hatch

and running out of space....
Yes theres possibly coat hooks, if I took them off the flour first, will have a look if you want some, but ok, I thought whos gonna need them...
You can always keep what you think is everything, but theres always something you leave behind that some one wants....

Andrew,
Found one coat hanger hook, still working, in cream type colour ... well its a light colour anyway...
Are you serious for one, or was it just a cup holder type gag??

Paul, please tell me you haven't spent all afternoon tidying through all your removed parts
to find me one!? If I could find where my removed one's are I'd be able to offer them to
those less fortunately coat hooked!!
I had to let an Xm bodyshell go today with a good many parts still attached so I know how
weather/time constraints can bug*er up best laid plans...

Paul,
Are you bringing loads of bits to Godmanchester on Sunday? If so, you'll need more than a ZX!
Hope the weather improves - it's P***ing down at the moment.

So are you REALLY leaving the TD dead then or are you going to fix it back up??
I had to weigh up the difference. VSX spec, no leather, air con or alloys.. High millage by a lot of peoples opinions, damage to repair, door to spray, VIC test, MOT test, tyres.. there was more on her worth to me then repair and selling on for the tiny amount I wouldn't get back.. SORRY GUYS.. it had to happen, but this DOES NOT always happen with me... IT WAS a hard choice..
Therecent parts on ebay werent mine by the way incase anyone thought they were, I havent sold ANYTHING off the car yet..
Stewart, I have parts here waiting for you... !!

If I knew what was wrong with it!.. but as the wheelbearing has been done, and the drive shaft, (leaving it with a dead ABS sensor arghh!) and it still makes horrible noise I am at a loss.. only thing left is the wheel, tyre and diff...
By the way I understand you reasons for breaking the VSX.. I would have probbly done the same

Stewart,
Can I honour you an ABS sensor??
Have you tried chicaine driving on a quiet road to see what the noise does??
I cant see it being the Diff what so ever...
It may well be the Half shaft bearing which of course has no weight on it and so wont come and go if you chicaine drive...
Chicane drive will only reveal near or off side bearing...
Which bearing have you done? Ill send you the opposite HUB if you want to fit and try! Save you cost! You'll have a spare abs sensor then...
