Looks interesting but I wonder if it uses as much oil as a RX8 and how they'll clean the exhaust of all the emissions?

Only had a quick look so I could be talking nonsense!

Looking at all those pistons thrashing backwards and forwards its a wonder it doesn't self destruct! And how come only the piston rings not the skirts touch the bore?
minijet
The pistons don't go backwards and forwards, they all move in one direction.

I'd like to see it demonstrated under load.
As far as I know their amazing power output claims are only estimations, maybe it's just pie in the sky........but who knows.

Very interesting. Thanks for posting.

Yeah very interesting, but has it actually run? and a minimum of 850HP ????? from something the size of an alternator????? The inventor is barking mad, or about to be filthy rich biggrin.gif

Can't help being sceptical but it sounds about the right noise for all thoe cylinders. If it's a hoax, it looks a very expensive one. If there is any truth in it, it will probably dissapear without trace, like most of those inventions on 'Tomorrows World' Remember them?

Not impressed by the MYT engine?

Well how about this one?

I havn't a clue how it transmits power to the crank, but the computer animation is good and aparently it does run and has been dyno tested.
Peter.N.
As you say, impressive animation but not enough detail.

I don't think they're lubricated by mineral oil, it smells like snake oil.

I don't think they're lubricated by mineral oil, it smells too much like snake oil.
