I'm sorry it may be heresy but I think this is a total gimmick.

Fee free to donate any mechanisms etc that your remove from your fleet to those of us that would like to add them wink.gif tongue.gif

The only time I used my Xantias armrest was when on a long cruise when you didn't need to use the handbrake. The C5s one is slightly better in that it's a ratchet type so the angle of it can be adjusted.

I liked the door pocket covers on the Xantia because they could be pulled outwards creating a bigger rest for your arm that was closer to your body.

I don't understand why my XMs armrest doesn't get in the way for me, maybe something to do with seat height but I have mine on the lowest setting.

Leather is rubbish too, uncomfortably hot in the summer or like sitting in a fridge in the
freezing winter weather even with seat heaters; to me it sounds like some sadistic torture. rolleyes.gif

The armrest is a great idea, id like one for mine, but then most of us would dry.gif

Im with you there Andrew, ive never liked leather seats, as you say, they are hot in the summer, even if you have air con no air is circulated around the leather so its sticky. Its cold in the winter, ok they may well be heated but not all of them usually are. Id much rather have cloth, the basic Xm seats are so comfy, i dont know why it wasnt to change them to anything else wink.gif

It's a car NOT a sitting room boys!!

Ah, see, that's where you go wrong. ;-)
As a car, this is as close to a lounge you can get. Only it'll go on the road, but without the discomfort usually associated with things roadgoing. And that's why I like it.

If I want a car, if I want to shift gears and enjoy the DRIVING experience and all that jazz, I'll get me an MX-5 or something. It's just that I enjoy travelling in comfort a lot more than throwing a car around a track.

I'm just saying it was almost life size, not a jibe about the file size on the forum
- that'd be more a moderators task! Nice picture; worth trying as an avatar although
I wouldn't suggest it as a signature as the forum's entire length would likely double!!! laugh.gif

I do like the big wheels - I believe they suit the dark maroon but then I'm likely biased...
