Saw that this morning, wonder if it is actually going to go ahead.

I am in full support of the lorry drivers, the amount they spend on fuel must cripple them...

I am one for buying something that is made in the UK if it is available and supporting British workers etc etc and am disgusted that the British Government will see foreign truckers coming over here running on cheap Diesel they are bringing from the continent which in turn is putting our companies out of business.

Something has to be done before we have no small or even large haulage firms left.

Agreed. But I'm unclear what is being planned, at what time and where. There's not much point in us all taking to the roads on Sunday, the Right Honourable Gordon would love that as it would just bring yet more tax into his coffers.
