Yea,
I agree with bobtee, Your doing a great job Noz, please keep it up. I am a member of two other forums (pug306.net and andyspares) and they are much more lively with posting than this one. Come on people, we need to keep this one going, it's great! And its not fair that Noz is doing all the posting!
Noz, quick question sir, any progress with the Series 1 CD yet?
Regards
David Hallworth.

Hi David,
Thanks for your kind words of support. I need to find a way of e-mailing all club-xm members to entice them to join in the posting. However, I've never administered a forum before and its taking me a while to get the hang of it. I've managed to work out how to add sub-forums and allow uploads which has helped a lot. The number of downloads is encouraging.
As for the manual I have scanned 4 volumes of the S1 which amounts to 1600 pages. However, I believe there are 9-11 volumes in total and I'm in the process of negotiating to borrow a paper copy off another XM owner. Once I've scanned the balance I'll put it on general release. In the meantime if you have any S1 specific issues, let us hear about them and I'll try to answer them from the pages I have.
Cheers
noz

The lack of mail is, I suspect due to the fact that this is "Club XM" and there are not that many many XMs out there, most of the mail on Andyspares is Xantia's and ZXs, but this is a very good "specific" site, thanks Noz, keep up the good work.

this site has been a fantastic discovery for me. even though i am mad enough to take on an xm anyway, to ease the pain by having this database of fault finding is invaluable.
expect a few posts regarding the quibbles i currently have with the car...
i would love to see the parts suppliers database when it gets going, and in fact to contribute to it with the sources i know of.
i wonder how good a collection of xm fixing mechanics there are out there, or perhaps we are spread far and wide around the world.
