Full Version Peugeot Parts Listing

Hello readers

I find the diagrams and parts listings available via http://service.citroen.com very useful.
There is an equivalent set up for Peugeot vehicles but I don't have the address for accessing it (http://service.peugeot.com doesn't work). Does anyone out there know what the address is? I would resent having to pay the guy on ebay a few quid for information that is already in the public domain.

I'll see if I can get hold of my cousin, he works for Peugeot service so should know the address of that site.

http://public.servicebox.peugot.com is what I was looking for and gives similar features to http://service.citroen.com once you have signed up.

Apologies if I am repeating common knowledge but if you enter your car VIN number into the parts section you can get a several page 'specification' of your car as originally built. Only drawback is that some of the info is a bit vague / generic.

Sorry to say that I am getting no response from the web access page listed by kenhall1202 on Jan 28th. Has anyone else had more success - and how did they do it?

Hi, I tried it and found nothing relating to parts diagrams etc on the link given.
So,it's not just you .

Why does Peugeot need two e's in the spelling!!?? I always miss the second one out.

If you try http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com I think you will succeed.

Sorry for the mix up.

Hi all,

Can anyone help my apparent senility?

I folow the link to the Citroen service site and it advises me to register for an account. I do that and an account number is sent to me by email. I create a password and log in. The site recognises me and wecomes me. It has the following statement in the white box in the middle top of the screen:

You are atCitroën Service Independent OperatorsThis application gives access to the manufacturer's documentation. You can consult all of the services in the left hand menu 'Free Services' as soon as you have registered. On the other hand you must subscribe in the 'Subscribe' tab to consult the technical documentation (Subscriber Services).

Looking down the left side I see links split into three groups;- "Subscriber Services", "Free Services"and "Concerning". I've tried all the links but the above message is repeated in the middle of the screen.

Where am I going wrong? Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Noz

Suggest you try enabling pop-ups. I had a similar problem and this was the fix.

what's the best way to register there - customer or one of the others?
IE, does just customer limit your content access etc?

I think only Citroen dealers with the right credentials get full free access to all the info on this site. The rest of us (customers) get the free stuff (which is very useful for diagrams / part numbers / prices (which also means that when you go weak at the knees on learning the part cost you can do it in the comfort of your own chair rather than hanging round at the parts counter of your distant local dealer!!)

Access to the detailed technical info means that you have to pay up front on a daily or weekly basis. I have not used this feature so far and prefer to rely on the excellent reservoir of hard won XM knowledge provided by the members of this forum.
