Tell me you don't go all dewy eyed when you see this. One of my favourite Cits of all time.
Wonder what the reserve is.

I DO like the colour!
Nice, and on my watch list!
I'd be very worried about the bubbling on the top of the rear wing and that
kitchen drawer handle is, well, words fail me...
couldn't he have found some gas struts at one of those Citroen Rallies
he was winning awards at!?
Expect it'll fetch £1500+ if he's been in touch with Rob Moss etc
G's are superb but are massively underrated and they do have a great ability
to rust - guess it's time for the remaining survivors to command Classic
recognition they deserve and a proper value now.

Yes Andrew there are a few little niggles. And I'd like to say it's the best one I've seen for a long long time. But it isn't

It's the ONLY one I've seen for a long long time!

That kitchen drawer handle? Pure Hygena.

I totally agree with your "one of the favorite Citroens of all time" accolade.
That's how I feel about mine. I love'em.
Have you seen those near mint ones and the odd survivor going through ebay
expensively recently? Big money when we're talking G values. Rob Moss had
a 1979 G on a buy-it-now for 1550 IIRC.
Nice...

Love those boxer engines. Don't know how they go on the GSs but in my Axel the 1.1 was revving like a 16-valver! Pitty this weakness with the valves that made it need 1 lt of oil per month at the end of its life...

I only ever drove one once. I did the timing belts for a bloke. That was a doddle as well cos they're at the front
I drove it round the block to try it and it was a great drive with that distinctive flat four throb. That was when I had my Cx and of course the G was like a mini version of that.
