Just had a call from Citroen UK! and no (before you ask) they didn't want to give me a lifetime supply of free parts they wanted to know what i thought of my local dealer and would you believe it , if i was happy with my car?????

Good, maybe they'll get the hints about the lack of knowledge on XMs, and C6 marketing strategy....
I don't think the woman who called knew what an XM was "according to my records you currently own an................X........M?" i wouldn't hold your breath, she probably didn't know what a C6 is either
