Hi all,
BX 16v with ABS.
All hydraulic parts on the car have been replaced with new or reconditioned parts from Pleiades; pump, regulator, flow distributor, front and rear accumulator etc etc.
Problem with car is cannot get any steering after all this work.
Any ideas ?
Posting on belhalf of enthsiast with no internet access.
Cheers,
Mark.

Car rises immediately when the engine is cranked to start.
No problem, just erase this post and I'll start it below ?
Cheers,

It could be simple case of air in the system. Try working the steering from lock to lock, this will expel any air.
If this does not work, you're probably looking at a blockage in the FDV.

I think there's a screw on the FDV that regulates the amount of LHM fgoing to steering. This wouldn't affect car rising, just that steering would not getting pressure.
