Hi All
Never made up XM pipework before so bit of advice needed.
Going to make up a new set of pipes for a rear subframe (Preg car heavily corroded pipes but were leaking gently out of sight) by adding joints at the point where the pipes go forward of the passenger side rear jacking point. Need to know how to cut the piping to give a clean end free of swarf ready to form the pipe end into a joint.

Hi Xmexc,
B&Q sell a little red plumbing pipe cutter that is only a few quid and it goes down to a few mm cutting size. That might do it.

Hi Demag
Thanks for that. Never thought that standard plumbing cutters went so small. I found a similar one in Wickes (needed a manhole cover for the current non XM project). Nice little cutter which goes down to 3mm diameter pipe and despite being blue not red it cuts the small pipes very cleanly.
