Anyone tried it yet? I notice a place near work is advertising dent removal, is this how they do it I wonder?

take it as read that both mine have the odd ding here and there, noone of them my fault of course :-). Caught an old boy cracking my number plate the other day with his tow bar. It was a bit crakced already so I let him off.

Hehe, cracked my brand new front plate on somebody else's towbar. Didn't see at all the damn thing!

Wow, very impressive. I wonder if it works on aluminium too (for my Land Rover). Anyone know where you get a bottle of CO2 like that from.

I would imagine that its standard aerosol feeezer that we have been using for years to find temperature related faults in TVs. Obtainable from CPC, Grandata, and probably Maplin's.

you can also get bottles of CO2 from any plumbers merchants (used for freezing pipes). I might have to try that on an old mondeo ive got and see what happens. Not on the xm though, its just been resprayed!!!!

I've got one large dent and a couple of small dings on the drivers door (why can't people be careful in car parks?). I am very tempted to try, but would kind of like to hear someone else try first

Hi all

Well i tried it this morning, gave the mondeo a firm knee in the wing, then set to work. There was no damage to the paint but it didnt get the dent out either! I was in a rush because i had to get to work, and i was using a blow torch not a hair drier. Looking at the video posted again the panel should be heated until lukewarm, and then the CO2 spray applied mainly around the dent and not in it.
Ive used my last freeze kit at work today but a may get another and try it when i have more time.
I will let you know how the 2nd attempt goes.
