Hi Chris,

Love the site & new forum - well done you.

Minor problem trying to add an avatar to my account profile - tried to upload a legitimate avatar (under 6 Kb, less than 80 x 80 pixels) and got a burst of error messages over the profile window - tried to copy them for you but the main screen re-loaded too quickly for me!

Perhaps you can have a look for the benefit of others who might try and do the same.

Thanks again for the site,

Regards,

Looks like my avatar did not work.

Here are the error messages mentioned above, I hope this is of use:

As you can see, it can be got to work, but only by using the

"Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to."

function... Bummer. I think the site is protecting itself against nasties getting in.

Sorry about that folks, I only bunged this Forum in because I couldn't get Invision Powerboard to install and was in a hurry! I'm no php geek, so don't expect me to get my hands dirty fixing it! :-)

Just stick your avatar graphic on a web server account (your free ISP provided web space will do fine) and point your Profile settings at the URL and you too can have a completely prattoid avatar. :-)
