Looking for athe upper part of the speedo cable, I fitted a new one which has broken withing 30 miles!, unfortunatly this came with the car ready to fit, so can't return it just to add to this the rev coulder needle illumination has failed as well!

Why did it fail again so soon?

Manufactureing defect in the lower end of teh cable, the drive was not well secured to the cable.

They used to be near where I worked in Islingtion and were really helpful for bits for my Morris Minor and my mate's GT6. They remanufacture cables etc from broken originals.

Note they moved to Swansea, could this be something to do with the probable profit from selling their attractive mews property in the middle of Islington?
