Help Guys....

I am trying to trace my V6 Xantia that i sold in the summer.

My XM is in need of some work doing to it, and i'd like my old V6 Xantia to use whilst its off the road.

The guy i sold it to emailed me a few months back saying he might be selling it, but i cant find his address.

Is there any way i can trace this guys postal address or anything through using the registration number of my car?

Thanks for your help in advance.

David.

Hi David

I think you can trace it through the DVLC providing of course he has registered it in his name! I dont know the procedure but I think my son does, so I will have a word with him tommorrow, unless someone comes up with it in the mean time.

Yes, you can trace previous owner(s) though the DVLA.

As long as you write to them giving a legitimate reason. If you are a previous registered keeper of said vehicle. I think that's almost a watertight reason.

I seem to remember there was a charge (£5, I think?) or it may be free nowadays.

There's a 'contact us' link on the DVLA website. smile.gif
