Hello all, Happy New Year
Does anyone have an HP pump (6+2) for a 2.5TD, as the one I removed from a 2.0 has slightly different layout...
Or can anyone tell me it's just a matter of adjustement - if so, how does pulley (2.0 is bigger) come off?
Cheers

Hi Chadders
I dont think it is viable to try and change the pulleys, unless anyone knows different! The Xantia uses several different types of hydraulic pumps, there should be plenty of scrappers about, so that might give you an option.

Chadders,
Or - Pleiades do an exchange pump (or recondition your own - same day turnaround by arrangement):

They did mine recently - really excellent job + 2 year guarantee.

If you dont mind me asking, how much does such a service cost?
I've often thought about getting that pump a works well, as opposed to one that works when.......

Hi Lez
Quote from Pleides for same-day turnaround, ie 3 days all-in for posting is about £150.
They reccommend this way as so many variations of pump within model year and engine. (e.g 3 version of 95/96 2.5TD that I know of!)
Very friendly and willing to help they are too
Cheers
