What will be a better one firewall I can download and use for free, that will come with my windows xp and won't slow it down?

Just a thought. Does knowing what firewall, virus protection or operating system is at the other end make it easier to crack into a system. I may well be doing a considerable injustice to a genuine member but we nearly lost the site content a while ago and we all have our own systems to protect. In the circumstances I consider the reply by Noz to be exactly the right response and a timely reminder to all of us about computer security.

Means nothing or very little to me.

I did a search as you pointed out demag and I think it looks like the result of an automated registering and posting bot. Looks like a dry run or experiment for a larger planned assault.

I'll delete his membership and this post shortly.

I've had a look at the profile of this guy on some of the other forums he's been posting the same question to, although he usually hides his email address he slipped up with one - he uses "williemiller@mylove-mail.com" if it's any use to anyone
