Ok ok,

I know months ends in `hs' but I ran out of space. Anyway, my V6 XM Exclusive Estate is now back on the road. What's more, it's even road legal with a new MOT, `though I'm not exactly sure how. Reversing in the yard between an almost derilict caravan and a building site, I was surprised to see no red lights when I put the brakes on. Prior to that, driving into Dundee was lots of fun; seems like the tracking is wildly off. I know these cars are renowned for their `floaty' ride, but sideways? Every pothole would twitch the car to the left or right, depending on which front wheel hit it. The electrics are still more than a bit weird but there is a comfortable sense of familiarity, listening to the occasional beep as the ABS turns itself off. The radio seemed to have gone into `sulk' mode with an ERR CODE message whenever I turned it on, then I remembered. The trick with this radio is with the engine off, leave it on with its error message showing and just walk away. Give it 20 minutes or so and you should be able to put the code in.

Oh the joys................. Here's wishing everyone a [SIZE=7][COLOR=green]HAPPY NEW YEAR.............[COLOR=blue]JIM.

You have to use your imagination. Where it says GREEN, see green. Ditto Blue except it would be blue, not green. I think...................... Jim.
