well it all started this morning when rear was slow to rise i just put it down to cold so about 49 miles later the stop light comes on and diagnostic says low hydulic pressure so i stop look around can see no leaks so i top up with lhm and go on my way all ok. Now dont laugh but i was going fishing so got there and set up near car so left boot open and rear door, fishing for a bit when a puddle of lhm appears running down to the back of car. ahhhhhhhhh look underneath and its dripping down over exhaust in the middle of car. So fishing cut short more lhm put in car and gently driven to garage now to find one that had a basic knowledge of xm was imposible but a guy put it over a pit and looked at it. Wouldnt let me look but at the time of them looking the car was running and all doors were shut, they said there was a minor leak on a small "valve" that was just in the piped not attached to the bodywork and tightened the unions to it. then on getting home i found a small pool of lhm where car had stood all night. left car for an hour and looked underneath and no leaks and rear still up (unusual for this car). am waiting till the morning to srr what has happened. the leak gets no worse when breaks applied so i take it is in the low pressure side.so
1) any idea what the "valve " is
2) safe to drive topping up with lhm over xmas period
3) anywhere around Cupar in fife that has a good working knowledge to repair
thanks for help if any.
