Hi Lez et al,
I'm sorry I don't have a direct answer from you. I have suffered from the same symptoms in the past. I found a solution that works for me. I use Norton Internet Security. If I temporarily disable it I can download no problem at all. I've searched in vain through all of the settings to find out which one stops it but to no avail. I've resigned myself to the fact that I have to do this every time I need to download something. On one hand it doesn't seem to happen with other sites I visit but on the other I can make the problem go away by switching NIS off. The first suggests its a server problem the second suggests its machine related.
I give up. I'm not sufficiently IT literate to figure it out.
(For information I use XP Pro, a mixture of IE6.0 and Firefox, Acrobat 6.0.)
If you can't solve it just drop me a line and I'll send you copies of the files on CD.
Cheers
