Guys,

what is your experience on dealing with too leaky brake doseur valves. I.e. overhauling, replacing, sending for overhaul to this Citroen specialist down-South whos name I can't remember at the moment -ah! Pleiades-; anything really!

Many thanks

No direct experience on this - but can heartily recommend Martin at Pleiades - he really knows Citroen Hydraulics inside out and is very reasonable too. (£16 exchange reconditioned spheres)

I had my hydraulic pump reconditioned by him recently and he turned it round same day - excellent job.

My Indie slings the leaking one into the bin and fits new. Why? Because it is cheaper for the customer that way, he says. There are parts available from Citroen to repair, but he says his labour costs are too high "to fiddle about with repairing things". The DIY man scores here because it is only a matter of a couple of pounds or so for seals and circlips if the bore is sound.
